Instructions for oral presentations

The schedule of DAS|DAGA conference is divided into time slots of 20 minutes:

  • 15 min presentation
  • 3 min discussion
  • 2 min break (time for optional changing to another session)

This firm schedule will be strictly enforced by automated signal clocks. The session chair(s) will abort presentations which overstep the timing.

Language of the presentation

The official language of the conference is English. Yet, contributions in German or Danish will also be accepted.

We recommend to submit full materials and present papers / posters in English to include the largest possible audience. In case you consider German or Danish for your contribution, please make sure to choose the same language for your title and for your presentation at the conference.

Technical equipment and presentation mode

A laptop computer with Windows operation system, a video projector, a laser pointer, and audio equipment for the playback of audio files are available in every lecture room. Own laptops cannot be used. It is possible to play audio recordings from the laptop in good mono quality.
Your presentation file is ideally prepared in 16:9 or alternatively 4:3 display ratio.

Media Check-In

Due to longer waiting times, we recommend uploading your presentation in advance to avoid time bottlenecks and technical problems:
