From conventional hearing aids to implantable hearing aids (middle ear implants) or inner ear implants such as the CI to central auditory implants, the DHZ offers help with all hearing disorders.
The hearing systems are being further developed in close collaboration with industry. In addition to the routine care of cochlear implant patients, individual research projects are presented by the research groups. You can see a real-time CI simulator with which signal processing strategies of CI systems can be made audible.
Furthermore, there are insights into objective measurement methods (EEG) to represent the hearing process with the aim of adapting hearing systems using the closed-loop method in the future. Developments on virtual acoustic scenarios will also be shown.
